According to a press release, Zillow signed a long-term agreement with the ListHub publishing network.
ListHub provides
performance reports for brokers, franchises and Multiple Listing Services (MLS),
as well as being the largest online
syndicator of real estate listings to real estate web sites. "ListHub has for sale and for rent listings
from more than 900 feeds from agents, brokers, MLS and syndicates." stated the
release.
ListHub will send
approximately two million listings directly to Zillow from 358 MLS's every
day, representing 40,000 brokers throughout the United States stated the
article on Zillow.com. "In addition,
Zillow will now provide web site and mobile metrics and listing performance
data to ListHub for inclusion in reports that brokers, agents and franchises
use when working with clients to evaluate the value of publishing destinations
and efficiently manage their online marketing strategies."
This agreement also allows brokers and MLS's to control how their listings are used by
Zillow and opt-out of any unrelated uses.
"This partnership solidifies Zillow's long-standing efforts
to provide quality listing information
to consumers on Zillow, and gives brokers and agents greater efficiency in
their online marketing efforts," said Greg Schwartz, chief revenue officer at
Zillow.
All of this will be
available on Zillow.com, Yahoo!Real Estate and Zillow mobile applications
for iPhone, iPad, Android and Blackberry.
