| Winter Time is a Sellers Market |

When interest rates are low, winter is a
great time to sell your home because there is less competition.

"Many
sellers wonder if they should take their home off the market if it isn't
selling and/or if it's during the winter, which is often a slower period for
home sales," says Dian Hymer of Inman News, "One of the reasons there are fewer
sales during winter is that there are fewer homes on the market than there are
in spring, summer and fall."
The key is to have your home on the market
when the right buyer comes along. A
competitively priced home listed in the slower winter months might even get
more than one offer. Waiting until spring
or summer will mean more competition and a softer market.
