In this IPTVBoyz video, John Matthews of White Orchid Interiors, a home staging company, discusses how they can help the homeowner or agent stage a home to get results!

Interviewer:  Hi, I am Kathy Soltero with metrobrokerstv.com.  Today we are at the 2011 Metro Brokers Annual Meeting in Glendale, Colorado, and we are talking with some of our wonderful sponsors.  John Matthews, tell me a little bit about your company, what do you do?

John Matthews:  Well, We are White Orchid Interiors and we are a full service Interior Design and Home Staging Company. We can take care of occupied properties for $150, and with vacant properties, we'll take care of furnishings, anything from entry level all the way up to multimillion dollar estates.  We serve all of Colorado, all interior styles and all price points.

Interviewer:  And tell me for the occupied properties what exactly do you come in and do?

John Matthews:  Well, we will come in and spend an hour or two with the homeowner and walk through room by room, and give them very specific instructions and tell them what they need to do to make their property look it's best for showings.  Then we will follow up with a detailed report, and they tend to take care of all those items, "action items" and the home looks great!  It's a very easy way to go.

Interviewer:  Would you say it gets results?

John Matthews:  Oh, absolutely, absolutely.  Homeowners love it, brokers love it, because we can come in and play the bad guy and help tell people, hey, you've got to take care of these personal effects and declutter and actually depersonalize.

Interviewer:  So, a Realtor could actually hire you, not the seller, but then the Realtor could say come on in and do this.

John Matthews:  Exactly, exactly absolutely.  And we work for a lot of Realtors, a lot of Realtors will actually use us as part of their listing package, and say as part of signing with me I am going to have you go in and work with this homeowner and the homeowners love it, absolutely love it.

Interviewer:  Well John, thank you very much for being here today, and being one of our wonderful sponsors.

John Matthews:  Sure.  Thank you for having us.
