The Australian Consulate carries out a number of functions in pursuit of the Australian Government's goals. It is located in Historical Downtown Littleton, Colorado inside the Metro brokers, Littleton Town Centre location. Littleton is a sister city to Bega, Australia and also affiliated with Bega Park right here in Downtown Littleton. During odd numbered years, Littleton hosts a VIP delegation from Bega, Australia who also participate in the Western Welcome parade. During even numbered years, Littleton sends a VIP delegation to Bega, Australia.

The Australian Consulate provides a gateway for Australians traveling to the USA and for tourists and business visitors traveling to Australia. The Consulate's region of jurisdiction covers the States of Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Clark County in Nevada that includes Las Vegas and southern California below 36 N. An estimated 19,000 Australians reside in the region. Honorary Consul, Sir Mr. Mark O'Regan, heads the Australian Consulate in Denver, Colorado, supervised from Los Angeles. Passport and Consular Services:The Consulate, throughout its region of jurisdiction, protects the interests of Australians and issues and renews passports for them.

As Honorary Consul, Sir Mark O'Regan looks after the welfare of Australian citizens living in the Rocky Mountain area as well as the many Australians who travel through this area yearly. You'll like his laid back attitude and delightful accent. "We never sleep, Mate!" is his motto.

He was knighted by the Queen of England, is an Australian beginning his career in the outback of New Guinea hearing courts as the District Court Magistrate in the capital city of Port Moresby. He moved to the USA to marry Kellie and became a full time Realtor® in 1978 working the Denver metropolitan area, especially in the southwestern Littleton area. Sir Mark is the Broker/Owner of Koala Realty/Metro Brokers located in the heart of Historical Downtown Littleton.
