Kathy Soltero interviews 2010 Annual Meeting sponsor Desiree Banka with North American Title, who offer simple short sales for MBI members.

Kathy Soltero: Hi. I'm Kathy Soltero with Metro Brokers TV. Today we are at the annual meeting here in Denver and we are joined with one of our sponsors, Desiree. Desiree, tell me about your company.

Desiree Banka: Yes, I'm with North American Title company and we are currently in about 22 states across the country, and our specialty here in the Denver Metro area with the economy the way it is, in the real estate market the way it is, is actually working with short sales, and thats the special thing that we bring to Metro Brokers members, is that our NAT star short sale department is able to take them from the beginning listing phases all the way through closing, and help save them a lot of time and energy that they can be out selling real estate to other individuals by taking some of the headaches that seem to come with short sales away for that, so.

Interviewer: And how does North American maybe differentiates itself from so many other title companies?

Desiree Banka: Well obviously, you know, customer service is something thats key for us and again, the short sale department. We've got a 95% close rate with it and the NAR statistic is that only 20% of short sales actually close. So we are very proud of those numbers and the success that we are helping realtors to achieve in those challenging transactions out there, so.
