am Scott Shields with Metro Brokers TV
reporting to live today from the 2011 Realtor
Rally down at the Colorado
Convention Center. I am joined here
today by one of our newest member Mike
Hammond. Mike thanks for taking the
time to talk with us today.
Mike Hammond: Happy to be
here.
Interviewer: So
Mike, you just joined Metro Brokers
correct?
Mike Hammond: I did, I
joined Metro Brokers just a few months ago, and we are new to Colorado and the Colorado
real estate business.
Interviewer: And
how is that experience going for you so far?
Mike Hammond: You know, it's a great community with great
opportunity. I think we are seeing
incredible opportunities all over the Front Range right now and it is a good
time to be involved in the business.
Interviewer: And which
Metro Broker's office are you
associated with?
Mike Hammond: I work out of
the Realty Oasis office in the Inverness area over at Englewood.
Interviewer: Awesome. Do you specialize in any niche marketing or
do you have certain type of real estate foreman?
Mike Hammond: You know I do,
I work in the residential arena in the
mid-priced range area and then I also work with investment property owners and people that want to build small retirement portfolios through
real estate, and so that's an area I spent a lot of time in.
Interviewer: So
being so new especially to Colorado this is probably your first Realtor Rally?
Mike Hammond: It is this is
my first Realtor Rally, it's been
amazing.
Interviewer: And then
what do you think about it so far run to classes?
Mike Hammond: Yeah I have
been to classes, I learnt some great things on social media which is a nice
avenue, it's just really exploding on our industry, that's something that's
really required I think. We have a lot
of good resources here, a lot of great people around, all the connections you
could possibly want they are here, and they are here for us to take advantage
of.
Interviewer: Well
