Metro Brokers TV:  Hello this is Mark Eibner with MetroBrokers TV.  We are here at the Inman Connect, 2009 at San Francisco and I am with MetroBrokers President Kirby Smith and welcome Kirby.

Kirby Smith:  Thank you Mark.

Metro Brokers TV:  So end of the show today, three days here at San Francisco, what can you tell our membership back in Denver that what you pulled out of this event this year?

Kirby Smith:  Well that's a, that's a tall order you know this is the, there is the big pictures, the little pictures, I think this was probably the best Inman, this would be my fourth Inman and I think this is the best one of them all.

Metro Brokers TV:  And why do you say that?

Kirby Smith:  Well the presentations were, they seemed to be more, there was more take aways in every presentation and like I said it was just very diverse, how... you know what the... what technologies are driving the big brokerages, what technologies are driving the... you know one person shops and how everybody is really sort of converging and using the social medias like they are.

Metro Brokers TV:  So really as far as value or take away, that's really what social media is ultimately about is giving before you ever get and you are saying the presenters this year were given a lot more information and a lot more stats was little more technology basis here?

Kirby Smith:  You know either I wouldn't say so probably I think they... we learned a lot about you know the cultures that, and how culture is playing a part in real estate, but how that comes together with the technologies.  So its not just a techy sort of things any more there is a, there is a culture being developed around it.

Metro Brokers TV:  Right.  So once again Inman probably proves just invaluable for the MetroBrokers organization especially for leadership being at the top seeing where we need to go?

Kirby Smith:  Yeah we brought a team of eight people here and you know we were, we divided and conquered.  We were at gash... we were everywhere and then we spent an awful lot of time together afterwards talking about what we had learned.

Metro Brokers TV:  Yeah 160... some speakers this year.

Kirby Smith:  Is that right?

Metro Brokers TV:  Yeah.

Kirby Smith:  Well maybe next year we will take ten.

Metro Brokers TV:  Well Kirby appreciate your information and insight and congrats as a great year of being President of MetroBrokers.

Kirby Smith:  Well thanks Mark, appreciate that.
