Unique Friday Evening Triathlon Being Produced by
Renowned Triathlete Ian Adamson

March 17, 2009 - Metro Brokers, Inc. is thrilled to announce
the first annual Triathlon Friday taking place on June 5, 2009 at 6:00pm
At Cherry Creek Reservoir www.metrobrokerstriathlon.com.
This event is open to the public and offers
athletes the chance to compete in a triathlon in the evening, without having to
get up at the crack of dawn. The event will include a fun-filled evening of activities
perfect for the entire family including an awards ceremony, catered dinner,
music and a Friday night party on the beach. This sprint-distance triathlon
benefits the Special Olympics of Colorado and is the perfect way to kick-start
the weekend and the triathlon season.
As a proud sponsor of Special Olympics Colorado (SPCO) for ten consecutive years,
Metro Brokers, Inc. is excited to introduce this unique event to further
benefit the organization.

money and awareness for the great athletes in the Special Olympics," said Maria

and will be more than a race, it will be a celebration."
To ensure an extraordinary event, Metro
Brokers TriathlON Friday has enlisted the production help of Ian
Adamson, founder of "24 Hour Events" and the man behind dozens of
national and international competitions. Adamson is the most successful
adventure racer of all time with seven world championship wins, 22 world
championship podium finishes and 17 international adventure race championship
titles.
"I am thrilled to be a part of this event and can ensure a
top-notch race for people of all ages and competition levels," said Adamson. "I
have made this my life's work and look forward to working with Metro Brokers
for many years to come."
Event festivities will begin with registration and packet-pickup
at 4:00pm at the reservoir. The half mile swim will start at 6:00pm followed by
a 12 mile bike ride and a 3 mile run to the finish line. Triathletes can
compete individually or as a relay team. The race will be divided into several
age groups and prizes will be given to the winner of each group. Following the
race, a party on the beach will ensue complete with catered dinner from Lodo's
Bar and Grill, live music and an award ceremony. Early registration is going on
