Kathy Soltero interviews 2010 Annual Meeting sponsor Bill Rozich of Amber Alert for Pets, a unique marketing opportunity for Metro Brokers members.
Kathy Soltero: Hi, I am Kathy Soltero with Metro Brokers TV. Today we're at the annual 2010 Annual Meeting and we're talking with some of our sponsors of the event, and we have Bill with us today with Amber Alert for Pets. Tell me about this company.
Bill Rozich: Well, Amber Alert for Pets is the ideal way to stay in front of 60% of the market, which are pet owners today. You register their pet at the time of the close of the sale, you will get a beautiful, one-page certificate with the realtor's name on it that they can present at the time of closing. They can register every pet in the family for $24.95. Once they are registered in the Amber Alert for Pets program, they will start receiving Amber alerts, because they are pet owners, they are pet lovers. So they will read these because they want this guy to find his way home. If the realtor gives me his information, his logo, etcetera, it would appear on here as the general reminder to this family that that realtor is the person who registered their pet in this program. In addition to that, they will receive an e-mail from us, the family will, telling that the realtor is the one who purchased this membership form. On average a family will receive 20 of these alerts a year, so you are in front of the family in the most unobtrusive way. In fact, they look forward to it. Every member of the family reads this. In addition to that, they will receive a pet package that will tell him who the new vets in that community are, where the pet sitters are, where the groomers are, where the dog parks are, etcetera.
Interviewer: This is a great marketing tool then, too, for realtors?
Bill Rozich: It's an extremely great marketing tool for realtors and the best thing about it is it finds lost pets. It makes us a part of the community, like you and I were when we grew up as kids, okay?
