"One of the most common complaints you hear from some iPhone
users is the battery life. " says Bernice Ross, author and Real Estate Coach.

Whether you have the new Verizon iPhone or are an old pro with AT&T, use these tips to keep your battery running at max power.
1.
Turn off your location services: It takes a lot of battery power to use the
geographic location services, so turn these off when not in use.
2.
Turn off
Apps when you aren't using them:
Believe it or not, this simple tip can save power. When you use an app
for email, browsing, or to view a document, these applications stay on and
run in the background even when you aren't using your phone.
"In fact, I turned off all the apps on my
iPhone two days ago. I just checked it now and I had 14 apps running!" says
Ross.
Ross offers these instructions to turn off those apps and
conserve battery power:
- "First, push the control button at the bottom of
your phone twice. You should notice a faded version of your home screen as well
as a bunch of apps at the bottom.
- The next step is to touch any one of those apps
and hold your finger still on the app for several seconds. The icons for the
apps should start to shake and you'll see a "minus" sign adjacent to
the app. Hit the minus sign to close the app."
Turning these apps off doesn't change any of your navigation
settings and it also prevents platforms such as Facebook from monitoring what
you are doing on the web and also monitoring your location.
"Unfortunately, Big Brother is watching us, even on our
phones." says Ross.
