Real
Estate Connect in San Francisco. We are outside the main event where some of
the top speakers have just finished and I am here with Neil Walton and Neil,
welcome.
Neil Walton: Thank you.
It is great to be here. I love San Francisco.
MetroBrokersTV: Hey, I understand you just become a new
member here with Metro Brokers?
Neil Walton: I have.
I have. I've been with Metro
Brokers now for about six months or so and I moved over from Keller Williams.
MetroBrokersTV: Keller Williams, wow. So, what convinced you to move over here to
Metro Brokers from Keller?
Neil Walton: Well, you know I really like what Metro
Brokers does and this is what they offer and working with Brian Richardson, he
was actually my real estate consultant about five years ago when I did some
investing and buying my property and I came along with Brian mainly and to join
the Metro Brokers team. It has been
great.
MetroBrokersTV: So, what have you picked up out here at... in San Francisco and Inman
Connect. I mean what has been your take,
the general sessions and some of the events you have attended?
Neil Walton: Oh, it has been actually really great. We have been validating a lot of the stuff
that we have been doing, lot of the stuff on the web and utilizing map search features
and some of the newer technologies through our website, following up with drip
campaigns, and lot of the stuff that we are doing, we are validating here
seeing that, yes, this is the way things are going and one of the things I have
picked up from this conference is that we are going to utilize more video
moving forward. You know a lot of the
old techniques where you just use pictures and virtual tours and these type of things,
but really the industry is looking towards video. So, we are seeing a lot of that and a good
friend of mine who owns wellcomemat.com[Phonetic] there in Denver, he has
got a video site up and it is really just starting to take off. So, I think the future of video or of real
estate is moving towards the video platforms.
MetroBrokersTV: Yeah.
I would tend to agree. I mean
video, they are talking social media and video here for a couple of years. NAR just came out and finally recognized
video and I think here you are actually seeing how to actually better manage
and distribute your video as well as managing your, this is called digital
footprint.
Neil Walton: Sure.
That is exactly right. So, I am
going to be moving a lot more towards video, moving forward.
MetroBrokersTV: Well, we really appreciate you sharing your
thoughts and opinions and hope to see you around more.
Neil Walton: Thank you very much.
MetroBrokersTV:
You bet.
