The Bush tax cuts expiring is not the Robin Hood event people think it is. Tax the rich to give to the poor is not whats going to happen, and people need to understand the reality of that. When the tax cuts go away almost every household in America will feel the hit, not just the rich. Our new government is taxing American households and the American families dont seem to know it. It looks as though its married couples with children that may get hit the worst.

The child tax credit will be reduced from $1,000 down to $500 per child, families will feel that impact. By the way, the original Bush tax cut was not just to benefit the rich, this alone helped middle class families, and now this administration is taking it away. There is also a marriage penalty that the Bush tax credit took away, but now we get it back. Married couples making over 232k will pay more taxes than an unmarried couple making 370k, make sense yet? Not for me either!
