In the old days (two-three years ago) promoting an event took a lot longer than it does today. The list of tasks goes on and on. You had to do all the planning, you had to sell tickets, you had to make sure you had enough people to fill the seats, and you had to make sure you didnt have too many attendees. You had to offer multiple pricing options for customers to pay for the event and you have to keep track of all this information on top of it all. You still have to do all of those things, but it just doesnt seem to be that much work today.
Event planners planning books were pretty big back in the day. Did you ever see one of those daily planners with papers bursting out everywhere? Well, you dont see those too much any more. We have moved into the digital age. We all have extensive calendars, but we arent bursting at the seams any longer (thank the Maker).
The technological world has helped us trim down the tasks involved in completing our tasks. Things that used to take us days, now only take us a few minutes. Word Press, a technology blogging platform, offers many tools to help people plan events. They offer plugins that expand the basic functions of Word Press. The platform offers help with things such as accepting payments for tickets, offering multiple pricing options, and record keeping.
Linking to Google Maps is another functional feature for your customers. Want to know where to attend the function? Here ya go. Also, promotion is always a big deal when it comes to planning an event. Today social networking is the way to promote any event, and Word Press helps with that too. There are many time saving tools to help any would-be event planner. These days anybody can be a concert or conference promoter with the means at our disposal.
