| Employment Up in Colorado |

The Colorado Department of Labor and
Employment released its most recent employment data which said that Colorado gained 34,298 jobs in September
2011 compared year over year. "There
were 15,000 more people in the workforce during September of this year,
compared to September 2010." reported Ryan McMaken of the Colorado Division of Housing.
Colorado labor forces peaked in July 2008, when there were 2.63 million employed workers. In September,
the labor force was down by 57,500 workers.
"September 2011 was the third month in a row showing positive
year-over-year changes in total employment." Reported McMaken. "At 1.3 percent, the year-over-year percent
change in total employment hit a 42 month high."
