am Kathy Soltero with MetroBrokersTV.com. Today, we are at the 2012 Metro Brokers Annual Meeting at the Wellshire Event Center here in Denver, and we are talking with some

Gerry Powers: Well we enjoyed being here. Metro
Brokers is a great institution, I am surprised it's not outside of Colorado, I really am.
Interviewer: Tell
me about Centralized Showing; tell
me about how the company works, and where you are at?
Gerry Powers: Centralized
Showing has become pretty much America's premier outsourced showing service. We have got over 140,000 members nationally,
we've got six call centers in the United States, and basically we just take the
calls for the agents or the front desk. So
they are not missing any calls that that's the big thing. And we are open 8 in the morning to 8 o'clock
in the night, Denver
time, so that works really well for them.
Interviewer: That
makes a big difference if you are out showing properties later in the evening, even
when offices are closed, it kind of helps.
Gerry Powers: Well I mean, I hear a lot of agents say, no I
do this myself, and I say, so you answer your phone when you are in a closing,
when you are with the seller, when you are with the buyer, when you are at your
daughter's birthday. "No." Well then you see you are missing showing calls,
and it's as simple as that, so.
Interviewer: So you
guys have been in business for a long time, and serving realtors really well.
Gerry Powers: You know the company has been around for 15 years,
I think we have really kind of come in to our own in the last couple of years. We now have a system where we record
everything. You know whatever goes wrong, it's our fault right, even when
agents don't show up to show the property, that's our fault. So we have a recording system that takes care
of all that.
Interviewer: Well we
