With the end of winter and breaking of spring comes the time to fix your lawn--an important aspect especially if you're trying to sell a home!
The winter snows and falling leaves mean the lawn is most likely brown, and lots of snow can damage a lawn. One important tip to keep in mind when starting is to allow the lawn to completely dry before walking on it too much. If you've had a lot of trodding on the lawn, it's probably suffered too much compacting, so you should aerate the lawn.
After aeration, add some compost to boost the nutrition of the lawn's soil. And remember to fertilize!
