| A new NAHB and MetLife survey reveals new data about the mature home buyer |
|
A 2009 survey of consumers and builders by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the MetLife Mature Market Institute has uncovered new information about housing preferences of consumer who are 55 and older. This particular survey was the third in a series that is comparing preferences of the 55- to 64-year-old age group to those of 65+.
There were many similarities between the groups. However, differences such as a desire for more technological features in the younger group and a preference for single-story homes in the older group, were revealed.
More information about the findings of the NAHB/MetLife survey can be found on RISMedia.
